Pre-K     Teacher Ramona

Pre-K” Program” is individualized based and has been created to aid the development of the student’s self-help skills to further encourage their confidence.   While the younger Pre-K students are adapting to the classroom environment the older students are working in a “Kindergarten Readiness” program. 

Ramona Carle is our Pre-K Teacher.  Teacher Ramona truly enjoys children and expresses genuine interest in each of them.  Her philosophy is to communicate to each parent her expectations and goals for their child and to provide them with applicable activities to practice at home.  She provides parents with a weekly lesson plan, informing them of the week’s activities so they are able to engage in conversation and similar activities at home.

Teacher Ramona has implemented communicational Spanish to her Pre-K students and visits the Kindergarten and Combo Classes once a week.

She has over 20 yrs. experience working in education.  She began teaching in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico’s elementary schools and soon moved to the United States working with children in the Orange Unified School District.  Prior to joining the Learning Center, Ms. Ramona worked for Trinity Lutheran Learning Center. 

Parent Workshops

"Parenting with Love & Logic" workshops are held in the Fall & Spring, as well as, other workshops based on family needs and interests.
